Lectures aren’t teaching for 3 hours. Time is allocated for questions and the like. (just around 2)

Theoretical exercises are warm-up exercise sessions w= some Q/A

Text books:

• Necessary parts are highlighted
• Otherwise not required to read them
• Required chapters will be provided as handouts

For Python PyTorch is required.

Home assignments:

• Weekly x6
• Deadline on Thursday 10 PM
• Does not contribute to final grade
• Required for exam eligibility (45%)

• Exam eligibility lasts for 1 year (so you can go to the next exam as well)

Final exam:

• Result is the grade

• Minimum 45% of HAs

• Closed-book

  • Also no programming on the exam
• Two mock exams provided

You are not expected to memorize the formulas
